CUPRA accelerates its electrified vision by expanding the reach of the all‑electric Tavascan. Staying true to the emotional design language and performance‑driven character that define the model, the SUV coupe now combines enhanced digitalisation, new convenience features and a new entry variant arriving in 2026.

Production of the updated CUPRA Tavascan will begin in the coming weeks, with the first customer cars arriving late quarter three.

A new entry variant joins the line‑up
The refreshed Tavascan line-up introduces a new entry point engineered to deliver CUPRA’s electrified performance philosophy while preserving the model’s unmistakably emotional character.

The Tavascan range welcomes a new 190PS/58kWh variant, designed to open the door to CUPRA’s all-electric performance DNA for more drivers. It features a 58kWh battery, delivering around 270 miles  of range on a single charge, and can charge from 10% to 80% in around 28 minutes.

Its 190PS motor ensures a confident, engaging driving experience while maintaining the Tavascan’s driver‑focused character and progressive spirit.

The 190PS/58kWh Tavascan joins the established 286PS/77kWh and 340PS/77kWh VZ models, completing a line‑up that delivers efficiency and performance.

Enhanced digital cockpit and upgraded driver interface
Inside, the driver environment evolves with a new, larger 10.25” Digital Cockpit that enhances the immersive experience. CUPRA also introduces a new steering wheel with physical buttons. The interior evolution is completed by the latest Android™‑powered Infotainment system, transforming the user experience by offering seamless access to a wide range of apps via an integrated app store, and familiar smartphone functionality into the driving environment.

The interior evolution with a dynamic, intelligent climate control system that adapts to every drive and operates through new electric air vents that activate even before the driver enters the cabin. As the key approaches, the system pre‑circulates air and adjusts its direction based on occupants and sun position and can also be controlled via voice commands for added convenience.

Seamless digital access through Smart Card and Digital Keys
With the introduction of the Mobile Device Key, drivers can unlock, start and share access to the vehicle using their smartphone. Up to four Digital Keys can be shared, with a fifth reserved for the primary user. Added functions such as Open on Approach and Walk Away Lock enhance convenience, while a Smart Card provides temporary access when needed.

Everyday practicality with Vehicle‑to‑Load capability
Practicality meets innovation with vehicle‑to‑load (V2L) capability. This feature allows the car’s battery to power external devices such as laptops, e‑bikes or full‑powered sound systems. Enabled via a dedicated adapter, V2L transforms the CUPRA Tavascan into a portable energy source.

Performance features for an engaging electric drive

The Launch Control – available exclusively with the larger 77kWh battery – intensifies the connection between driver and machine, optimising torque delivery and ensuring maximum acceleration from a standstill.

Beyond performance, the Tavascan brings everyday confidence with One‑Pedal driving. This allows acceleration and deceleration to be managed using only the accelerator pedal. By lifting off the accelerator, the vehicle automatically decelerates through regenerative braking, recovering energy and reducing reliance on the brake pedal. This function delivers smoother deceleration, greater energy recovery and a more intuitive driving experience, particularly effective in urban environments and stop‑and‑go traffic, allowing the vehicle to come to a complete stop without using the brake pedal.

Enhanced sound system by Sennheiser
The already existing premium sound system features 12 speakers and immersive sound by Sennheiser. Within this new version the audio quality is elevated through the integration of Sennheiser Contrabass, which uses psychoacoustic techniques to deliver deep, punchy low‑end frequencies. Combined with Sennheiser’s Concerto immersive technology, the result is a rich, enveloping soundscape that fills the cabin with exceptional clarity and depth.

New exterior colour: Midnight Black On the exterior, the line‑up expands with the addition of Midnight Black, a rich and sophisticated finish that enhances the sculptural presence of the Tavascan and reinforces its progressive identity.
