March 14, 2024 – Lincoln’s newest SUV – the all-new 2024 Nautilus – arrives with evolved design, an available hybrid powertrain, and new connected features including the all-new Lincoln Digital Experience and Lincoln BlueCruise hands-free highway driving technology that will elevate the ownership experience for clients on and off the road.
The Lincoln brand advances the notion of sanctuary with its next-generation midsize luxury SUV. A distinctive and commanding exterior design evolves the face of Nautilus, while the reimagined interior maximizes space and gives clients a sense of tranquility with the help of new, connected experiences. Inside, the Nautilus showcases a flowing, horizontal instrument panel integrated into the 48-inch panoramic display – the largest in its class1 – introducing new levels of connectivity and personalization.
“For more than a century, Lincoln has been recognized for its exquisite design and craftsmanship, and as we look ahead to the future, we reimagined the cabin experience and what the sanctuary can become for our clients,” said Dianne Craig, president, Lincoln. “The 2024 Nautilus elevates our portfolio and offers our global clients an all-new, compelling SUV with connected experiences and features that make it just as fun to drive as it is to relax in.”
A reimagined interior that combines tech with luxury
The Nautilus was designed and engineered for the brand’s younger, global customers, offering them choices in technology, design and powertrains based on their needs and lifestyles – progressing the brand’s design to a more dynamic, digital space.
The reimagined cabin incorporates new ambient lighting along with crystal-inspired details throughout the vehicle that capture the essence of seeing sun reflected on water – a piano key shifter, instrument panel toggles and audio knob that shimmer. Nautilus awakens with a new Lincoln Embrace beginning at the center of the new display, flowing out into the front and rear door panels. An all-new flat-top steering wheel allows clients to see over, not through the wheel, giving an overall effect of comfortable openness and a sense of freedom.
Nautilus takes sanctuary into the connected future, designed to help clients recharge, with features that craft an entirely new sensory experience that will immerse you in rejuvenating power of sight, sound, touch and scent.
Introducing the Lincoln Digital Experience2, Nautilus allows clients to create their own space – beginning at the 11.1-inch center-stack touchscreen and extending up and out into the main 48-inch panoramic display. The new display spans the entire dash and can be personalized to meet driver needs, raising the preferred information of their choice to help keep their eyes up and on the road.
Clients can access their favorite apps and services from Google and Amazon through the new integrated native experience, as well as with Apple CarPlay® powered by iPhone, and Android Auto™ using a compatible Android™ device3. All content is displayed front and center to help make time behind the wheel more enjoyable, even when parked.
Designed to prioritize the use of voice, customers can select either the Google Assistant or Alexa in-vehicle controls to set cabin temperature, search information, find and set a destination, request a specific broadcast or satellite radio station and more. The Lincoln Digital Experience also helps with making calls, sending texts, setting meetings, and controlling connected home devices. When using Apple CarPlay, Siri voice control is specially designed for driving scenarios, like announcing or making calls, responding to messages using just voice, playing music, or sharing an ETA while navigating with Apple Maps.
Integration with Google Maps provides real-time traffic, road conditions, dynamic and eco-friendly routes and points of interest. Navigation info is displayed on both the touchscreen and the digital cluster.
The Lincoln Digital Experience was designed to let each client connect to their unique digital life, making it easy to stream their favorite music, audiobooks and podcasts using entertainment apps downloaded on the Google Play store, including Spotify, Amazon Music, Audible, and iHeartRadio. SiriusXM® with 360L is embedded, making it available even when a smartphone isn’t connected in the vehicle.4
While parked, clients can surf the web using the available Vivaldi Browser app – as well as Chrome coming soon in Beta – including a Bluetooth-connected keyboard to make typing easier. Clients can also watch videos and stream their favorite movies when parked with apps such as YouTube, Prime Video and more to stay entertained. To stay productive on the go and never miss a work call, clients can stay connected with leading video conferencing apps coming soon, which enable audio access while driving and display the incoming video feed of participants while parked.
5G wireless technology 5 brings incredibly fast connectivity – with a Lincoln Premium Connectivity plan, it will provide a remarkable in-vehicle experience. It is also designed to enable more new apps and services in the future thanks to software update capability.
For the all-new Nautilus vehicles equipped with Lincoln Digital Scent feature, clients will receive a
collection of three in-cabin scents – Mystic Forest, an earthy blend with woody, rich notes of patchouli, Ozonic Azure, a crisp blend of aromatic patchouli and traces of bright violet and Violet Cashmere, exotic white florals and trusted violet that are crisp and refined as fresh linen – are housed in the center armrest.
Four new available scents now added to the collection and are available for purchase include:
- Cloud Balsam: an invigorating blend of lush pine needles, oak moss, crushed tonka and vanilla beans
- Serene Seashore: hints of juicy melon, fragrant lily, musk and bright lemon combine in this radiant mixture
- Twilight Embers: An enchanting suite of patchouli, floral jasmine, fresh apple, and deep leather undertones
- Sunlight Retreat: Sandalwood and rose highlight this union and are accented by crisp red fruit and balsamic notes
Designers have also elevated sanctuary beyond the first row – allowing second-row passengers to control and embrace the journey from beginning to end with second-row legroom being among the most spacious in its class. 6
On the road, Nautilus features the most standard Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in its class1 and is among the first vehicles in its class with an available hands-free highway driving feature1. With Lincoln BlueCruise7 assisting with the braking, accelerating and steering, it takes sanctuary to a whole new level, helping reduce some of the stress of driving whether it is a daily commute or a long road trip, allowing clients to arrive to their destination energized.
The all-new Nautilus will come equipped with BlueCruise features including Lane Change Assist, allowing a driver to switch lanes hands-free with the tap of the turn signal when the path is clear and In-Lane Repositioning, which helps provide more space by subtly shifting away from vehicles in adjacent lanes. BlueCruise is now equipped on more than 303,000 Ford and Lincoln vehicles globally and customers in North America have driven more than 164 million miles hands-free.
Outside, Nautilus features a dynamic, new exterior and all-new LED headlamps, available H2 Pixel Headlamps as well as all-new LED taillamps with animation. The new signature lighting elements represent the brand’s lighting vision for the future, reinforcing and connecting the available lit Lincoln Star™ and signature front light bar.
With an evolved face highlighted by a new signature grille, the new Nautilus has a bold, commanding exterior design, as signature lighting features flow from the lit Lincoln Star to the front light bar.
A nod to the future of luxurious travel
The all-new Nautilus will offer clients the choice of two powertrains for their lifestyles – a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine as well as a hybrid powertrain. The standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque8 is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
As hybrid powertrain options grow in popularity, Nautilus offers a 2.0-liter turbocharged hybrid engine (HEV) available on all trim levels that can achieve a total system horsepower of 3109. The new 2.0-liter turbocharged hybrid engine will be mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission with a 100kW electric motor11.

For the signature gliding drive, the Nautilus is equipped with available adaptive suspension and a suite of sensors that monitor vehicle motion, body movement, steering, acceleration, and braking activities. Additionally, Nautilus features five standard drive modes – normal, conserve, excite, slippery and deep conditions – each one fully integrated so clients can effortlessly select the mode.
