- Right-sized pickup enhances PRO value, adds drive mode selector and stunning new paint option
Building on the extensive refresh and additional features introduced for the 2025 model year, the 2026 Frontier empowers owners to work hard and play harder. New for 2026, Frontier adds an exciting new Dark Armor package, enhanced value, a striking new color, and the added control of multiple drive modes. The 2026 Nissan Frontier offers a wide range of possibilities with S, SV, PRO-X and PRO-4X grades, plus a choice between King Cab (S grades only) or Crew Cab configurations and the option of either a 5- or 6-foot bed. It reaches dealerships later this summer with a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)2 of $32,150.
Standout style
The newly available Dark Armor package gives Frontier a sleeker, more understated appearance. Available for SV grade, the package includes 17-inch black alloy wheels, plus darkened mirror caps, front grille, exterior badging and FRONTIER tailgate lettering. Interior upgrades include a black headliner and darkened door handles, HVAC vents, shifter trim and dashboard accents.
Frontier PRO-X and PRO-4X grades add an eye-catching new color option: Citrus Strike. The neon lime/yellow blend sets Frontier apart from other midsize trucks and complements the fiery Afterburn Orange introduced for 2025.
Functional enhancements
The 2026 Frontier features a new drive mode selector, giving drivers more confidence and control for varied terrain. Selecting from its five modes – Rock, Sand, On-Road, Mud, Hill Descent Control – adjusts key vehicle characteristics to ensure Frontier drivers get the performance and capability they need in nearly any scenario.
Enhancements to PRO grades include standard heated front seats, heated steering wheel and remote engine start3. SV and PRO grades also add a standard eight-way power driver seat, improving comfort and customization.
Also new, S and SV grades add LED lamps, enhancing visibility with a more modern front-end appearance.
Additional changes for the 2026 Frontier include the addition of an All-Weather package, which bundles a heated leather steering wheel, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and remote engine start for SV grades.
