Order books are now open for the all-new Alpine A390, the brand’s next step in its fully electric Dream Garage line-up and its first five-seat sport fastback. A-Pass customers will be the first to place an order, with general orders opening on 16th April 2026. Prices start from £61,390 on-the-road, with first customer deliveries expected in the Summer.
Following on from the Car of the Year-winning A290, the A390 brings Alpine’s unmistakable performance DNA into a new segment, combining the agility and emotion of a sports car with everyday practicality, seating for five and sporting a 532-litre boot.
The A390 range is available in three versions:
- A390 GT – from £61,390 on-the-road
- A390 Premiere Edition – from £65,390 on-the-road (limited to 390 examples)
- A390 GTS – from £69,390 on-the-road
Built around Alpine’s new optimised electric architecture, the A390 GT & Premiere Edition deliver 400PS and accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds, while the flagship GTS delivers up to 470PS and 824Nm, achieving 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds.
All A390 models feature Alpine’s unique Active Torque Vectoring system, enabled by two independent motors on the rear axle, allowing precise control of torque at each wheel. The result is exceptional agility, balance and responsiveness, with the development team benchmarking its behaviour directly against the renowned Alpine A110 to ensure a driving experience defined by feel and driver engagement.
A390 is powered by a high-performance 89kWh battery, offering up to 345 miles WLTP range (dependent on wheel size). With DC rapid charging of up to 190kW, A390 can charge from 15-80 percent in as little as 25 minutes. An 11kW AC bidirectional charger is fitted as standard across the range, with a 22kW unit available as an option and included as standard on the Premiere Edition.
Inside, the A390 introduces Alpine’s refined and immersive feel@one cockpit, centred around two high-definition screens: a 12.3-inch driver display and a 12-inch central multimedia display. These integrate Alpine-specific graphics, Google built-in services, an EV route planner, and over-the-air software updates.
Six body colours are available from launch, made up of Blanc Topaze, Noir Profond, Argent Mercure, Bleu Abysse, Bleu Alpine Vision, and Gris Tonnerre Matte – a special Atelier finish available on GT and GTS. A contrasting black roof can be added for £1,000 on both the GT and GTS.
