London, 22 April 2026– The AION V all-electric family SUV sets a new standard with a distinctive exterior, a spacious and luxurious interior fully loaded with comfort and convenience features, and class-leading range and charging speed. Every AION V will include the ‘AION Great 8’ effortless ownership proposition, which provides eight years of confidence-inspiring support across the vehicle’s warranty, servicing, roadside assistance and MOT.
Prices start from £36,450 OTR, with flexible PCP offers over 18 – 48 months starting from £379 per month (2.9 percent APR Representative)* through AION Financial Services.
Pre-orders start on 23 April through a dedicated UK-based concierge customer contact centre. The concierge team will be available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm to answer customer queries, discuss finance options, and share customised finance quotes.
A Jameel Motors flagship AION retail showroom in Slough will open at the end of May along with the first wave of sites that will grow to make a nationwide franchised retail network.
The AION V features a powerful design with distinctive front and rear light clusters, a strong profile, tough-looking stance, and attractive 19-inch alloy wheels. It’s available in either Wilderness Sand metallic or Arctic White pearlescent paint as standard, with a choice of three further metallic colours (Galaxy Blue, Night Shadow Black and Sea Fluorescent Grey) for an additional £675.
A surprisingly spacious and refined business-class interior features luxury-grade soft-touch surfaces and is fully loaded with convenience, infotainment and comfort features. As standard, the AION V includes a full-length panoramic roof, double-glazed front windows, and multi-shade ambient lighting; electrically-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats and heated reclining rear seats; wireless smartphone charging and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay; a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by the latest ultra-fast Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with permanent soft keys for instant access to climate, seating and volume buttons; a virtual assistant offering zonal voice control of key settings and functions; and a nine-speaker 360-watt premium audio system.
A Premium Pack (£1,495) adds leather seating, a 6.6-litre CoolHot Box, massage front seats, and a sturdy rear seatback tray table, plus the option to upgrade to an additional exterior paint colour (Holographic Silver; £675), or one of two additional interior colour themes (French Cream or Bright Tan; both £195).
Practicality and versatility are built-in, with wide opening doors, smart tailgate opening, a three-tier boot system that can swallow up to 472 litres of cargo (rear seats up, VDA standard), and even a Lounge mode for chaise-longue seating.
The 75.3kWh LFP battery gives the AION V an impressive 317 miles of range – class-leading for a standard-fit battery – and can charge from 30-80 percent in a class-leading 18 minutes. A super-efficient heat pump helps keep the battery at optimal operating temperature.
The driving experience has been optimised for the UK with specially calibrated and refined suspension set-up for British driving habits and roads.
Launching in conjunction with the AION V, the ‘AION Great 8’ customer proposition provides eight years’ peace-of-mind on warranty, servicing, MOT and roadside assistance. The comprehensive package is locked to the car’s VIN, so whether registered to a fleet, privately purchased or leased, each AION V registered in the UK will be covered by the same industry-leading support. The package is fully transferable, meaning that the value of the package extends up to the eighth year from first registration, regardless of ownership cycle.
While AION’s retail network develops, customers will be supported wherever they are in the UK through a partnership with the AA. This will give customers access to the AA’s nationwide network of accredited workshops and over 100 mobile service technicians for servicing, maintenance and repair. A collaboration with DHL gives the assurance of nationwide next-day delivery from AION’s Bury St Edmunds parts hub.
