Dacia Reports 2024 Sales

More drivers choose Dacia as brand sees record year and 10% sales growth in 2024

  • 2024 was a milestone year for Dacia in the UK. The brand sold a record-breaking 31,704 cars – an increase of almost 10% compared to the previous year
  • Highlights throughout the year include the arrival of the latest generation Duster, the launch of the UK’s most affordable new electric car, Spring, and the reveal of the hotly anticipated Bigster

Last year, more UK drivers pursued value for money by choosing Dacia, as sales rocketed by almost 10% to a record-breaking 31,704 cars.

What’s more, now fully in its prime and demonstrating the appeal of such a versatile vehicle, the family-friendly, seven seat Jogger saw sales jump 77% in 2024 compared to the previous year.

In May, the brand celebrated the delivery of the 100,000th Duster since the original was first launched in the UK in 2013.

Now, with the latest generation Duster launched, the success story is set to continue. Before even reaching UK retailers in November, it became the first Dacia ever to be shortlisted for the Car of the Year 2025. Its robust design and sector-busting value for money has already won over 2,500 customers.

The brand also continued to rewrite the rulebook with the reveal of its first electric vehicle, the Spring. Priced from just £14,995 on-the-road, it is the most affordable new electric car in the UK.

The third new car revealed represents a significant milestone for the brand. Bigster begins Dacia’s mission to conquer the C-SUV segment and is already one of the most hotly anticipated vehicles to arrive in 2025. Staying true to its values, Bigster will offer exceptional value for money, without lacking any of the essentials SUV buyers expect.

Luke Broad, Dacia Brand Director for the UK, commented: “There’s no denying that 2024 was an ace year for Dacia, but the best thing is knowing that more car owners are enjoying the robust, modern designs and fantastic value for money of our cars. Naturally, we’re really looking forward to 2025, especially as we’re going to be adding some Dacia magic to the large SUV sector with the arrival of Bigster.”
