Commanding: Strong presence with signature design elements
- Modern exterior design: Twin star elements each headlamp characterize the new look of the GLE Coupe. The striking black panel visually connects the new headlamps and the larger radiator grille to form one harmonious design. The centerpiece of the grille is the iconic Mercedes-Benz star positioned within a large chrome frame and is surrounded by a special Mercedes‑Benz pattern. The central star and chrome frame are illuminated, enhancing its sense of refined elegance. The distinctive front bumper has also been given a new look with modified lower air inlets including high-gloss black flicks and chrome slats. At the rear of the vehicle, the taillights feature two stylized, three-dimensional star elements that emphasize the dynamic character of the GLE Coupe. Two new 20-inch AMG wheel designs offer further opportunities for personalization.
- Brighter and more efficient headlamps: The new GLE Coupe is available with optional next generation DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps with micro-LED technology and a powerful chip. This cutting-edge technology produces a larger high-resolution lighting field, enables increased brightness and consumes up to 50 percent less energy than the previous generation system.
- Airy, spacious feeling: With over 10.8 square feet of panoramic glass, the GLE Coupe has one of the largest panoramic sliding sunroofs in the segment. The expansive glass roof provides a clear view above and lets in generous natural light and fresh air. At the touch of a button, the central glass element raises and slides over the rear, fixed glass segment.
- Analog and digital luxury: New trim elements and comfort features enhance the interior of the GLE Coupe. The upper portion of the dashboard is finished in high-quality MB-Tex with elegant decorative stitching as standard. The steering wheel integrates a new tactile “rocker and roller” control concept, based on customer feedback. The central climate control air vents for the front seats feature a new oval design. These are integrated into the ambient lighting and blend harmoniously into the new interior. Optional ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL includes a new electric cabin air filter. The incoming outside air is effectively purified using a multi-stage concept to prevent even extremely fine particles from reaching the cabin. In the first stage, the outside air passes through a pre-filter that traps larger particles from the airflow. Next, an electric filter ionizes fine dust particles, enabling excellent filtration at the interior filter. While the pre-filter only cleans the outside air in the first filtration stage, the interior filter is also active with climate control in recirculation mode.
